Terror Pop's album Guerilla Warfare is the album that started Useless State. Zach wanted to help release one of this awesome Swedish band's records, and WALLA! Useless State was born.

Bio:

Punk rock has always had the predilection for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and that has surely been some what of a trade mark for the cult band terror pop. The band was founded 28 years ago (!!!), and have since the start released numerous of deoms, singles, compilations, cd:s and videos... Terror pop has toured both abroad (Denmark, Germany, Chech Republic) and around their home country of Sweden. Musicaly terror pop have never excepted to be labeled any special category or style. In 1996 they did how ever collaborate with two swedish companies (Kommunikation and EMA Telstar) as they released the album ..three.. on their own label United Flesh Records (fuck all record companies). On the album ..Freak Out.. (released june 2004) they have turned back more to their roots, which is even more emphasized on the brand new album Guerilla Warfare (released june 2007 in Sweden and US together with Useless State Records and Brunljud) ...Live, the true element of terror pop, they transform into a howling, roaring, punk..n roll mean machine.

Useless State exists to promote artists within the Portland/NW area, so we rarely put out releases by those who are not. When USR releases something, a lot of planning has gone into it and is generally for someone directly within our community. However, we love to experience new creations and arts. If you’d like to send us something, please do. We enjoy building connections with others and sharing works.
